About Lost Limbs Foundation
Lost Limbs Foundation is in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization status.
The mission of Lost Limbs Foundation is to provide financial assistance to the families of amputee
children who are in need of medical and prosthetic assistance.
Mike Couch started the Lost Limbs Foundation to help encourage and provide monetary support to families of amputee children. Mike started the foundation after his own struggles with losing his right leg just above the knee due to blood clots from a venous malformation he had since birth. He reached out to Ben Hansen from SyFy channels Fact or Faked Paranormal Files in hopes of establishing a partnership to help bring hope to families. Ben agreed to help by appearing at paranormal charity events to raise awareness and funds to help get the charity started.
Currently, the charity is listed as an incorporated nonprofit charity in the state of Ohio. The Lost Limbs Foundation is now in the process of obtaining 501c3 nonprofit status with the IRS. With your help with donations, purchasing shirts, and attending charity events and conventions, we can make this a great charity to help the children in need of our assistance.
